Cool behavior

My convict pair has begun to rip up chunks of hair algae and place the chunks at the entrance of their cave to feed their babies in safety.
This behavior started 2 days after I added 4 adult south american bumblebee catfish to make sure fry dont survive.

Convicts always find a way.
I had a pair years ago I bought at the same time from different tanks at the LFS.
They had them separate males and females to prevent a pair from forming.
They spawned the day after I put them in my tank together.
