taking you gentlemans advice from a previous thread i began giving some worms to my fish. especially to add some size to my bullhead. theyve been getting gobbled up before they hit the bottom except this morning. they must have still been full from last night. i watched the worm slowly bury itself and disappear. i sat back down and observed from a distance just enjoying my fish before i started the day. moments later the bullhead came from his cave and began pacing over a small area franticly. suddenly he smashed is head into te rocks throwing debris and material everywhere. as he came from the dust cloud he swam back to his cave with about a 1/2 inch worth of worm hanging out of his mouth. i was like a little kid "coooool" lol just thought id share.

Lucky thing for you they are bottom feeders like that.

I have lost earth worms to my lungfish that he will not go after. For one of the oldest fish in the world, their hunting instincts are a little bit rusty.

Cats are pretty cool. Bullheads in all of my tanks have gotten to sizes where they sooner or later eat their way to being the only fish in the tank. :D

when I use to have bass they would inhale worms like that...except when I had a smallie for some reason he was scared of worms, it was weird but kinda funny
