I steped on one of these things and it smell like 100 old people craped all at once . there preaty cool I had one as a pet once and my nephew had one and we did a compitition see whos can live longer I cared for mine but he did nothing for his, his lost of cors but it lasted 3 months with no care!

IMO it looks like a Large Darkling beetle.
Cool find.

I have one that over 5 years old now.
he even lets you pick him up and hold him.
