Yes there is.We have a couple here in Au.
Glyphis sp. A and Glyphis sp. C. They are real freshwater sharks simalar to river whalers.

Besides that fact that its brown and bright red, rainbow sharks are pretty good

But aren't they marine sharks? I thought the only true freshwater sharks were in Lago Nicaragua. Marine sharks go way up into the Mississippi River too but they're still marine.

Nope.These are true freshwater sharks,spending their entire life in fresh.Research is suggesting there may in fact be up to 5 species of Glyphis Shark.The ones you get up the Mississippi are Bull Sharks.We have plenty of them too.They can live for yrs in fresh but are classed as marine as they are more coastal in their normal range.
