COOL little pick up today "caquetaia umbriferus"

went to a couple LFS's and picked up a caquetaia umbriferus. it's about 3.5" long and i think its a male (or aleast im hoping). it has alot of freckles already and nice speckling on his/her fins. what do you guys think on the sex of this umbe??? i paid $20 for it.

Still a baby, very cute, but too young to tell the sex IMO.
Good luck with him/her, I am sure it will grow into a super fine looking adult

after watching him swim for about an hour i noticed that his vent was small and pointy not rounded at all infact you can kinda see it on the 2nd to last pic. does that confirm that it is a he ?

i wouldn't count on anyone being able to 100% sex it at this size. as an estimated guess i would say it's a male. need some better pics of it though

I would call it an "it" for now. If you start calling it a male your luck will run out and it will be a female lol.
