Hi, my name is Warren. I have had everything from a reef system to aquatic newts. Sadly when I had the reef system a major storm blew through and we were without power for 48 hours in the Texas summer! I have always been interested in "oddball" animals. My main passion is a legless amphibian called a caecilian. I have two Typhlonectes natans which are aquatic (about to get two more) and one Potomotyphlus kaupii, also aquatic. With the shipment of the T natans, I am also getting two from the Ichthyophiidae family which are terrestrial, but I won't know the genus until they arrive. I currently only have one African lungfish, Protopterus aethiopicus aethiopicus. He is a youngster at only about 6". I also have a Rana luteiventris as well as 4 Ambystoma gracile and 2 Dicamptodon tenebrosus. Other than that we have two parrots, numerous dogs, cats, chickens, a tarantula, etc... I wouldn't mind picking up a South American lungfish, but would probably pass on the Aussie as I don't have the facilities for captive propagation and since they are endangered... I was in contact with the (then) owner of the Aussie lungfish farm- back about 5 years ago, but didn't have the 2 grand for the specimens nor the facilities to do them justice.

Right now I only have the two and they are both fems!!! I am hoping for some males, but we'll see. I hear they do breed pretty easily witht hte right temps and water conditions. If you like the Typhlos, you would really like the Potos. Hmmm... let's see if I can post a pic...
