Cool Turtle Enclosure! (Duw)

Hey everyone! Today, with the help of my father, I completed my "turtle paradise". Basically I gave them a nice dry area to chill in and I put the heat and UVB up there. They seem to like it. I used acryllic for the sides and lined it with astroturf.Please excuse the crap-tastic digicam photos.

Im going to get some better lighting on this tank i swear

How often and how long do they usually bask?

They spend most of their time in the water but probably about 1/4 of their time is on land. Then again all i previously had was a crappy turtle doc. They can use this much easier.

Yep, Ill be replacing it every month or so untill I can find something else to use. I was thinking a plastic window shutter would work but they are so expensive, like 30$ for a pair, and I cant buy them individually.
