Here is a pic of my newest fish. I finally broke down and bought one from the LFS!!!!!!!!

nice! how come "you broke down" and got one? are they pretty pricey there?

No, I just could not find one from a local breeder or at an auction. I try not to buy from LFS anymore.

Why no love for the LFS?

My lfs sucks. That's why I got into breeding and ordering from online vendors. People at the lfs around here don't know much about the fish they sell and then the fish dies when you get it home because it wasn't housed in the right conditions.

thats a good idea and ive thought about doing that as well. its easier to go thru onliine vendors at times instead of waiting to see if your lfs will get a certain fish in. im fortunate to have 1 lfs that knows their africans and one of the guys who works there is known among aca members here in socal and used to import himself!

I have found that auctions and venders and other sources are better. I can never be sure about store fish. They are not always what you pay for.
