I'm Over Here Now
I'm thinking about using copper to make shelters and caves for hiding places for my tank. don't know if it would release anything harmfil for the fish. i do know ppl use rusty nails to increase iron. i havent seen copper in any tanks and think it would be a nice different look. any info would be appreciated. thx

thanks for the reply. do you know why the copper is harmful to the fish???

Copper is very toxic to invertebrates. Most fish tolerate it fairly well, but it would still be pretty stressful. Plus it will turn your water green...

thanks for the info. it was a thought i had. wanted to do something different that i havent seen before... now i know why
