So finally after keeping tingrays for soon 10 years I finally saw it. :headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2Two of my leopoldis copulated last night during a waterchange? Surprisingly it was the smaller female and one of the smaller males who got down to it. Another surpising factor is that I had just treated a wound on a ray with quite a lot of salt in the water...but it didn´t stopp them.

A few questions

How big are the chances that the female get pregnant? Do they need to copulate several times to get it right?
My tank is 2100 liter. Do I have to separate the female from the others?

Once there realy has been sex the male usually keeps at it untill she is pregnant.

So, congratulations ;)

yuppers........ congrats on the potential leo pups...

Best of luck! That has to be a rewarding feeling, to see your rays mate after keeping rays for ten years! Congratulations!

Congrats! Hope everything goes well. If your leo's get pups and they go for sale, there are several interested here in your neighbor.. :)

If the male is old enough, once should be enough to do the trick!
