I just picked up a CBS for my 20gal long tank and put him in just recently, yet the second I did, he just floated down to the bottom. I come back later to realize he's being carried around by the current quite a bit, and rarely ever touches the substrate. When he floats around, it literally looks like he's dead, yet when I turn off the powerheads he just floats down to the bottom and continues about his business.

I didn't think two Hydor Koralia Evolution 550's would be too much for my 20gal long, but I'm assuming that I may be wrong at this point. Thoughts? Is the CBS just getting used to the tank and such and thus just taking it easy initially? Been doing saltwater for about two years now, but admittedly this is my first CBS so I don't have much knowledge or experience with them. Thanks.

you don't think that 1100gph is to much flow for a 20 gal... dude... your like almost 6x the "recomended" guidline for flow for a 20gal... I recomend taking at least one of those out, I know 10x volume is the only a "recomendation" but 60x volume is a bit on the high side IMO.
