How would a coral cat get along with cleaner shrimp? Would they be gone in an instant, or would the cat pay them no attention?
I've seen pics of cleaner shrimp in with a coral cat but my thoughts would be that they'd get eaten.
What do you guys think?

idk i imagine they be fine under the unseen, unspoken realtionship between big fish and cleaner species

Scubakid - There is no garuntee the shrimp will be ok, however I do not think a Coral Cat will bother them. Just keep it well fed, and you should be fine. I mean they are only what $10-$15 anyways. So if they dissapear atleast we know for future references.

Okay, thanks for the tip! Should I avoid feeding live ghost shrimp at first then to avoid getting him into the habit of eating live shrimp? Or does it matter?

Well certainly if you avoid feeding the shark any live food - would only help.

Since the food you feed the shark is dead, it's less likely to associate the live cleaner shrimp as a possible prey item. Although I can't guarantee that shark won't eat a cleaner shrimp or two, if it gets hungry.
