are you planning on going with the coral cat instead of the bamboo?
if so he will be able to live a lot longer in your current setup before upgrading or throwing him into the lfs 40,000 gal tank
the attain a max length of 28" but average around 24"
the bamboo can max at 40 but average around 36"

Coral cats are in the same super family of sharks as Requiem, hammerheads, and Smoothhounds. That is active swimming sharks. Although they are still benthic species. They do tend to swim more and are a bit more voracious feeders than most bamboos.
