Wondering if anyone knows where i could possibly order one from. I searched and searched but found nothing.

We get them ALL the time at my LFs up in Michigan! its called Somethin's Fishy! for more info send me a private message! I'll get back with you in a week or so!

Did you do lots, and lots, and lots, and lots of research on it first? I suggest Scott Michaels book, "Aquarium Sharks, and Rays". Sharks are not your average fish. They require extensive research and special care to survive in captivity.

Good luck with your search and shark experience.

JJ.

Well, first off the Coral cat(A. marmoratus) or it's cousin the Marbled cat(A. macleayi) are both excellent species sharks for a home aquarium.

Both will do fine in a 120 gallon tank. And are quite possible the only two sharks that can be housed in a tank that small. As they both only grow to about 2 ft in length.

But here's a couple links of online dealers that sale these sharks.

Hope this helps.

The first site you have there doesnt have any of those sharks available that are on their page... I have contacted them several times now about epaulettes and wobegongs... none available... and when you buy sharks online you dont know when the last time they ate, or the health cond that they are in. I have never dealt with 2nd site u have listed... but it appears they have a decent selection.

Sorry about your situation, with that company - Elasmofreak.

They're a website I have saved - not that I delt with them or anything.

And I thought the info may be helpful.

Also I do have other links with Coral catshark - but those were two of the best prices.

You should tell them to lower their prices... hah maybe they would fair better! At the lfs i work @ we typically sell small coral cats (8-12in) for $30-50... and larger specimens (20+ in) for $50-75. So $98-140 for coral catsharks is WAY too much money, plus shipping. Wow thats gunna be outrageous! your better off driving up here to MI and buying one from us

Your right, Elasmofreak - the larger LFSs would be cheaper than online.

I know when I lived in Raleigh, NC - I saw a coral cat at one of the LFSs - it was about 18 inches for sale for about 80-85 bucks -They had it in a 120 gallon tank. And it sold fairly quickly(I went back a couple of days later and it was already gone).

But the part about driving to Michigan - that was just funny  - especially with gas prices these days.
