I got a coral today. The tank has been runing for about 4 months. I have an aquatic life light and it is 78 watts. The tank is 36Lx12Wx15 hight. The guy said that they were hardy so I got it. What do you feed them and is there anything i should know about this? How do you feed it? Thanks...

Picture is kind of bad quality...
However, they look like standard button polyps. Food wise.... you don't really need to supplement them with anything as their photosynthesis process will provide about 90% of their food. But if you wanted to feed them something, you could buy oyster feast and either squirt the tank with it, or spot feed them. Personally i have a home made mix that i've blended of clams, scallops, shrimp, cod, and other misc items. When i feed my fish normally the coral grabs a few pieces as well.

Thanks for the reply...

Those look like Hex palys... no need for any feeding as they will just utilize photosynthesis to make their own food. Keep in mind that those palys can easily overrun a tank as they spread very quickly.
