Coral ID for those who may know

I have been given a Marine setup to watch for a few months while my friend gets into their place, long story not crucial to this..

There are two corals that I have seen in their tank that has me quite intrigued and was wondering if anyone could ID them for me. I doubt that its red slime, as I have seen enough of that to know the difference.. least I hope I can distinguish between the two lol. Anyone know what this is?

I had a buddy come by quickly who suggested it may be a form of macro algae. Seems reasonable assumption anyone else have an idea? I love the look of it and its doing very well I have it sitting on the sand bed and its growing like crazy since I have had the tank in my place.

I agree. It's red algae.
