I am looking forward to upgrading my 46 gallon tank to a 90 gallon freshwater with wet/dry sump, bio balls in lower 30 gallon and sponge filters on top.

Now I have had two fish for 6 years and the are so great friendly blood parrot large. They currently have gravel and decor and plastic plants etc. I will be changing their set up and initly moving some of the plants and decorations.

When I purchased the puka coral substrate it did not occur that it it may change the ph or not work.

I know it is ok for African Chiclids. Does anyone have any advice as I was told it is ok and now I am worried.

This is a big move and I want to make sure my blood parrots are safely transferred.

Thanks so much!
