In a Room
Soft Coals

Lighting - Generally can go from PC's to Metal Halide. Depending on your lighting they will normally be placed near the bottom of the tank.

Feed - You can feed phytoplankton, zooplankton, and pellets if your coral and catch them and move it to the mouth. Eats mostly micro foods you cant really see when they eat.

Large Polyp Stony (LPS)

Lighitng - Also can go from PC's to Metal Halide. Normally placed low to mid level in the tank depending on its needs.

Feeding - LPS have mouths and most have feeding tentecles. You can feed mysis shrimp, Rods Food, cut up (defrosted fish) and many other "meaty foods" that is what will promote more growth from them

Note* they grow on skeletons so supplementing with calcium will also promote growth.

Small Polyp Stony (SPS)

Lighting - Most people use Metal Halide BUT if experienced enough you can keep them under T5's. Placement in the tank should be mid to high. they need alot of light to thrive.

Feeding - You can feed your sps oyster eggs, cyclopeze pretty much all micro particle foods. Dosing your tank will lead to sucess in SPS. Dose with magnesium, iodine, calcium and aminos will help promote health and color.
