Hi everyone! Last week, I bought a coralife biocube 29 at my LFS, and I am planing on building a stand tomorrow and getting the tank cycling next week. Anyways, I have been thinking of how I will set it up, and I have decided to put some cultured LR and LS from my LFS in, along with a heater and a Hydor slim skim nano in the first chamber, a chaeto fuge in the second, and just my return pump in the third. My questions are: can I scrape the black stuff off of the back of the first chamber so I can monitor my heater and skimmer, and how can I set up the fuge properly with chaeto and LR rubble?
