Ive read the manual, and tried to set up my timer but it seems that im not doing it right being that its not doing what i want it do.

When programing you have 7 different cycles, my question is how does this work...can i set a timer for each individual day, and night plugs?

any advice would help, here is how i want my lights to cycle.

Day 10am-6pm
Day&Blue 2pm-6pm
Blue 2pm-10pm
Led 10pm-4am

HELP ME PLEASE!!!! i feel so stupid for being out smarted by a power plug

You have 4 outlets that are on all the time, the 2 yellow outlets are day and the 2 blue ones night. You should be able to overlap the day and night outlets to have day on from 10.00am - 6.00pm and blue from 2.00pm - 10.00pm but there isn't a third set you could use for the led's, I would say your best bet would be to get a basic timer like this from Home Depot http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc...splay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053 and plug it into one of the 'always on' outlets for the led's.

OK, I should have read through the instructons again before I answered, mine is setup to just switch from day to night so I didn't notice that you can't overlap them (thought it was possible from what I could remember). Sounds like using 3 of the basic timers on a regular power strip woud work better - this is dissappointing to me cos I found that Home Depot and Lowes sell exactly the same timer as the Coralife one for $19.99 (only diff is the day/night outlets aren't colored) so I bought two "for the next tank/project".

Yeah, at $35 you should be able to at least set each of the day and night outlets individually. The $20 version from Home Depot is just about worth paying for.
