Hello,
Is there any way to see my cories during the day. I normally only see them at night but that barely works. Are there special lights or anything? Thanks.:D

Hmmm... Normally it should be extremly easy to see cories during the day. Perhaps yours are afraid to come out? What tankmates do you have them with? Tank size? Decor type? Water parameters (PH, Temp, Amonia, Nitrate/Nitrite)? We will need all these to know exactly whatthe problem is. Also, if you are able, please post a pictureof the tank

also how long have you had them as they can be shy at first until they realise what time dinner is

Cories are often very reclusive when their school is too small. Try getting a group of 6 together, and you will see them all the time. If you have this many, they may just be too young, or something may be out of whack on your params.

Well... I have six cories with 2 rams, and 6 Harlequin Rasboras. The params are fine and I have a large piece of driftwood. 4 of my cories are always under the driftwood there are two that are always out. Thanks.:D

Give them some time, if all params are in the ideal ranges, then they are just too young/small right now. When they get big and begin to take interest in spawning you will see them all the time.

You should see them all the time anyway... they are usually the most active fish about. What species are they out of interest? How long you go out by the tank. They can be scared by sudden movements and then come out in a bit. Then again every fish is individual.

That's probably exactly whats happening. They are Corydoroas Juliei. Also most of them are pretty much full size. Thanks.:D

BTW: How do you induce spawning?
