Does anyone know if cork bark holds up well underwater? I'm setting up a paludarium and was thinking of using cork bark as the walls of the water section (sloping up from the bottom of the water area to the start of the terrestrial area). Water depth will only be a few inches.

It will eventually break down and cause a mess in the long run. Short term it should be ok though
