How can I tell if my corn snake shedded the piece over its eye? It did not shed completely in 1 piece. It has shedded the part around its head but I don't know how to tell if it shedded the piece over its eye

Thats normally only a problem if the snake hasn't had access to a water container large enough to soak in. if the eyes are still cloudy then theres a chance some of the old skin is remaining but the snake will take care of this on it's own. If the eyes are clear then don't worry about it.

Oh...I have wolves and snakes along with fish...lol

Yea the eyes are clear and it has access to a water dish. My mom just opened the window while I was gone and left it open so it was cold which is what I think caused it. Thanks for the help.
How do you exactly obtain a wolf? that sounds like a sweet pet

Well first you have about 25 years of expierance and a federal licance then you work with several rescue and public education groups. A wolf can be a wonderful companion to someone who loves and understands them but they make VERY poor pets.

Actually, it's not uncommon for that o happen.

The best way is a good soaking in water. It will come off eventually -- usually 2 hours. I don't know how long it take for the other members to get the incomplete shed to fix itself.

He shed most of the rest of the skin last night there was just a little at the tip of his tail so I soaked him in some more water. Thanks for the advice everyone
