Thinking of building another Plywood Tank this time a corner one.

Just wanting to find out if this size would be big enough for a Giant Gourami

It works out around 150 US Gallons.

Or Option 2

Nice plans, 150 should be ok for the GG maybe not forever but for a good few years. Is this for a new fish or the one from the 2000?

go for the second option
not much harder to build, and increases capacity considerably. i personally think it looks better too. especially if you get viewing panels on the sides.

I would do #2, but modify it so the front pane of glass is longer than the others.

The wife has been at me to put colorful fish in the 2000, so I was thinking of spliting up the fish in the 2000. and putting african cichlids in the 2000 and the gourami in the corner tank, but not sure yet what to do....

Wow looking nice! I'm interested to see pics of the actual build.

Yeah, won't be any pics for a while I am in concept and design stage :(

This was a thought as I have pond shield left from my 2000 liter build (HERE) and also some plywood etc.

If I go ahead with this it won't start till about xmas/new year.

do a google sketchup of it. give us some 3d action!
