I'm currently thinking of doing a plywood tank in on corner of a room the corner is basicly useless otherwise but to make it truly custom I would like to build a tank that is trianglar in shape and is 3'LX 3'WX4'H I've looked at garf and some of the other sites and can not find anything about making a tank that is this tall. They do not seem to recommend anything over 30" other than hydrolic pressure due to the wieght of the water any resons why not? I do understand that cleaning would be more difficult however visualy very pleasing. :) Any thoughts or ideas would be most appriciated.

Also for the veiwing window what would be a better option glass or acrilic? I was asumming that acrylic would give more and be more forgiving.

If you make a nice strong skeleton for the plywood to be held, i cannot see what a problem is with height. I have seen 2.5 foot high (water level) plywood ponds before, and they have held fine.

However the taller the water level is, the thicker the viewing panel will need to be, and the more complicated and expensive it becomes...
I can only help as far as the plywood pond construction itself, not the viewing window.
