albino asian redtail cats are hemibagrus nemurus.
asian redtail cats are hemibagrus wyckioides.
there are no true albino asian redtail cats.
hemibagrus
im trying to figure this all out. help me!

yes you are right the albino ones are hemibagrus nemUrus
asian red tail cats are hemibagrus wyckioides previously known as mystus nemErus

the wyckii usually is confused with the h. wyckioides but it is not, but have almost the same characteristics, except for the red tail and the loooooong whiskers the wyckioides gets

i haven't yet seen an albino wyckioides

but the wyckii and the nemurus also share the same locality
will have to wait till some one with more knowledge and experience chimes in

cool! thanks for clearing that up. so there is a possibility of an albino h. wyckii?

yes i would love to know my lfs has one but it's called albino cat are they just as aggro or could i mix it with a gg ?

even the h.nemurus are very very aggressive just like many other bagrids and do not tolerate tankmates big or small doesn't matter much
if they can't eat it they will try and bite it to death

i have about 4" left on one and 9" left on my other one until they turn evil. as of now they tolerate tankmates, but not for long!
