so a datnoide, is the same as a tiger perch, and they are supposed to be in brackish when full grown. and there are multiple species that are hard to id. right? and will eat anything that fits in their mouth? but are really good in huge tanks as a group fish.

The whole brackish thing has long been a topic of debate as far as keeping dats..I've never kept mine in brackish.

New guinea tiger and silver tigers are the only data found in brackish water. I know of one person that keeps them
In brackish . That's it. Everyone else i know keeps them in FW.
