I've currently got a couple FW rays and I know this site is predominately aimed at FW systems.

My LFS has a tiny Cortez SW Ray, must be only 3 inch across and markings are lovely, similar looking to the snow leopard rays.

Anybody know much about these, e.g. max sizes, success in aquariums and anyone kept them?

Attached is a pic form Google of same ray

They are awesome little rays. They stay small, don't think they get bigger than 10-12". I had one many years ago along with yellows, blue dots and ribbontails. From my experience they are pretty hardy. Unlike the ribbon tails. Not sure if anyone is breeding them in captivity yet or not. If it's a strong eater, you should do fine with it. I normally would start sw rays off on live ghost shrimp gut loaded with cyclopeeze, then move onto squid or market shrimp.

I had one years ago when I was into salt.It was about eight inches in diameter,I fed it cut up seafood and it did not cause any problems with other fish.I loved how it seemed to watch me as it lay burried under the sand with just it's eyes exposed. When I would drop food in it would come out and cruise around looking for the food.
