Well I went to the store the other day and picked up two cories, and two guppies. One cory died the next morning, had to take it back and get another, well now yesterday another cory died, so there is one left and I cant figure out whats wrong. The LFS checked my water and it was fine, but why did they both die? Both my new guppies are just fine, swimming around and playing. The cory that is left seems ok, but has red lungs...which I thought was from high ammonia levels...but the ammonia isnt high in my tank as it is cycled properly. Any ideas? should I get another cory from this same LFS?

I bought a pair of healthy juvi angels and they died within 12 hours. I was really surprised, tank was clean and everything. I was confident and bought another 2, but same story.

I read about drip acclimating fish as I always used the put bag in tank 15min method.

So a few months later I bought 3 juvi angels (this time 580km away) and after about 6 hour drive I tried the drip method and now 1 or 2 years later their still as healthy as the day they were put in.
I also later added medium sized angel from lfs this way with success.

Could be a disease, bad lfs water drastic change in temperature like mentioned above. Try the drip method like mentioned. Also, When in doubt, do a water change o.O....
