Cory Question?

I have a shoal of bronze cory's in a tank with a very small trimac who has started to harass the cory's.

Is it true the cory's have some type of defense mechanism against larger aggressive fish?

I have herd that they have some type of coating or sent that deters predators.

Trimac?? as in Cichlid??

Corys CANNOT defend themselves against something such as a Trimac cichlid.

If they are still alive please separate them.

Cories don't seem to understand "territory." They'll continue to invade the other fish's space until he kills them.

The trimac is 1 1/2 inches.
I will move the cory's to my peaceful tank.
