I currently have 2 Corys in my tank and unfortunately lost my gold laser Cory 3 days ago but I’ve noticed one of them has bubble like blisters either side of the dorsal fin. After some research the best I can come up with is too much protein and too much air, so I have lowered the air going into the tank and will feed algae based wafer and pellet for the next few days.
has anyone ever seen this and can anyone give me any info.
The gold laser did not have these bubbles on him nor has any other fish.
Once it comes to the front of the tank I will try to get some photos.

I’d like to see photos because in my mother’s fish tank she has Cory cats with what sounds like like same thing

My severum has something like that, but never seemed to bother him. I’m pretty sure it’s lymphocytosis which is often a sign of stress or another disease.

I’ve had a pair of them for probably 4-6 months and I’ve never had any issues with them they are both growing well coloured up nice, I noticed this fella yesterday so I’m trying to find a solution

thanks for the info
