Corydoras and aquarium salt

Are they sensitive to it because i might need to treat my tank, i have a feeling my betta has velvet.

ps. mods please dont move,i cant get an answer in the correct forum and ill delete this thread once i find out.

I wouldn't just QT the betta, because if it is a parasite like velvet, all fish in that tank are already exposed to it.

Just make sure you dissolve the salt in a cup of tank water prior to adding it. To be safe, aire on the side of caution and use a lesser dose than normal for initial treatment, and adjust as such.

That said, IME, cories aren't particularly susceptible to ill effects due to salt
