corydoras and polypterus

ok so i have a 29 gallon sand bottom with 2 senegalus and 2 ornates would a small school of corydoras punctatus of about 8 be ok with them or is that wayyy too much?

ornates get BIG... with big mouths..

a nd i think its waay too much anyway... what are you going to do with 2 fish that get 10-12 inches and 2 fish that get 2 feet?

You will need to either move the ornate to a big tank or sell them. The two senegals and 8 corydoras should be fine in a 29gal even though I personally think it's a bit small for a senegal.

the two senegals might be fine with the corys depends but its risky they would need to be big because if the senegal tries to eat them it might get stuck in its throught and kill both and the ornate get WAY to big for a 29 both do really

Personally I wouldn't be suprised if the senegals would have a go at the cories too... and what with cories spines, not something you want to happen.

the problem will come when your sens get 9-12 inches, while your cories stop growing at 2...
