Hello everyone. Im new here and have a quick few questions.
My Bronze corys and peppered laid on the glass. After a lot of research and reading as I wasnt trying to breed corys I found myself quite confused. I have removed the eggs to their own tank put a little meth blue in to stop the fungus, water changes etc. The eggs hatched (had a little fungus during incubation) the fry are so tiny BUT then nothing.they arnt growing, they seem to be diminishing in numbers. I have read to have them in a shallow (for them to be able to fill thier swim bladder) plastic tub or container and placed in the main tank. That isnt possible for me. I have them in a 2 foot tank with heater and 2 small sponge filters. All I see at the bottom of the tank is the odd wriggler and debris
HELP

cory babies stay small for a while. how old are they, and what are you feeding them? do they hide among the rocks, or are they actually dieing [did you find the bodies of the ones disappearing]? btw, be careful with the heater, corys don't care for higher temperatures, they like cooler water

Thanks for the reply. I have found a handful of bodies but the rest appear to be okay, they were just "playing dead" > I feed them baby brine shrimp, and very very crushed flake. ( Crushed with a mortar and pestle) I have microwrm growing. Thats proved very hard to get where I live so Im just waiting for it to take off. My husband devised a smaller tub within the main tank. So he does water changes in the tub every day. Its airated and about 22 degree C . Which is on the cooler side.
Sine I have typed the original post the peppered Cory's decided to spawn as well, as did the Bristlenose and Angels!!!! Angels ate the eggs before we could get them out the tank and the brostlenose eggs vanished. We are asuming he fanned them out his cave and they became a snack.
Anyway Thank you for your reply

Good luck with your babies =], all of them lol.
