Hi all,

I was thinking about picking up a stock tank or something similar to house one of my beasts. Any suggestions on where to look for cheap prices or any creative ideas? I wanted to go with a pool setup but I cannot fit it in my fish room....

Thanks,

My turtles are kept in a 110 gallon tank from them (you won't find it under stock tanks, have to search) which is a 4ftx3ftx19in oval.
They have bigger ones, of course, that's just one that happens to be really cheap.

I use a "Tuff Stuff" brand 110g tub for my turtle, cost me about $60.00 and works great. I used to use it as an outdoor pond for rearing convicts in the summer. The place I got it from also sells a 300g Rubbermaid tub for about $100-200 or so, would make for a great monster catfish pond *someday*.
Here is their web site.

Looks like the largest they have is a 180g oval tub.
Also check out these, if you browse the site a little you may find something else.

thanks for the 2 helpful suggestions. there is a tractor supply store somewhat near me, the 110 gallon looks good--also the tufftubs 160 would be sweet. I'll do some more digging.

Thanks again
