Cost of a blue eyed Pleco???

What would be the cost of a blue eyed pleco that is about 2 inces long? Arn't they supposed to be pretty rare due to the distruction of their habitat?
 
Last time I saw one, they were going as much as a Royal at $50 a pop! I don't see them around anymore and the Royals are starting to barely come down in price now.
 
Cool, does any one know if they need any special care? Drift wood in thie diet, ect?
 
Riverwonders, who are always a bit high, sell them when they have them for $399 each.
 
About 14 years ago my wife had one she found at a lfs mixed in with the commons for $1.99
 
Here's losing it.

10" blue eye panaque. Sold it for about £100. Last year. Never mind, I'm not much of a fan of plecs. Seems none of my customer were either - I had it for well over a year!
