before i go and buy a unit this weekend,most of you have read the other ro thread that rudy started so you all are in the loop.
i have a larger sized tank currently dripping 240gpd of tap water through a regular drip system.i want to split that number like 50-50 ro .i have been reading that a average aquarium ro unit will waste alot of water.a 100gpd unit will waste 400 gpd so a total use of 500gpd which than i also will be dripping about another 100gpd of tap water. so my daily consumption will be about 600gpd which seems very expensive for already keeping very expensive rays. if this is true i dont care i will let the rays tough it out for a few weeks a year. but on the other side i would like to use it to promote ray breeding because any activity like this in my tank stopped 100% and i would like it to continue.
