Will a higher watt heater cost less to keep my tank warmer? i have a 120w in it now which is keeping it 75 or lower at times... but its on all the time... So i want to know if i get say 400w will it heat up faster and save it a little money on Ebill? and in the long run cost less to keep temp at 75 the hole tank?

Another Question is got all you SUMPER... How is the cost of running vs a brand filter? I was just told that a pump with more flow then my fx5 will cost a little less to run... is this true? i can see why but but if a pump is matched to the CFilter will it be the same running price?

CFilter = canister filter

No,neither.....if a 400 watt turns on,its using 400 watts of electricity.....if you get a lower flow pump for your FX5 youll get different dwell times and either run the water through too fast/slow or not make the head.Always go one size bigger with heaters....

Oh ok ... do they make heater pass 400? that are from the Ebo-jager line? i like these heaters cuz i had some for years and never gone out :)
