I have used both COA and Rapps, and have had great service from both.
Have also used Wet Spot and Old World Exotics with equally good results.
Last I checked, Old World had a minimum $300 minimum, so to me a $100 minimum is rather minor in comparison. If you are going to pop for shipping, why not make the order worthwhile, or split with a friend or 2.
Last time I ordered from COA I split the order with a friend and we used airport to airport shipping on about 3 large, heavy boxes (@100 fish) that left Fl in the morning and arrived in Milwaukee by 2pm,
not 1 DOA, and many were mid size (which are usually harder to transport safely)
Another time I ordered from COA, after catching 1 of the 2 species I wanted, he called and said they didn't look right, and wouldn't send fish below his standard.
I appreciate that kind of service, so he sent double the one species that looked good.
The ones he sent were very healthy and grew into great fish.
