Cotton mouth / mouth fungus disease Asian arowana help

Hi all

My rtg arowana caught this cotton mouth or fungus disease today! I already added salt anything else to be aware? Thanks!

You might want to try something like API Fungus Away. It's a water parameter issue so monitor your water quality.

I recently took my pleco I out from the tank to a different tank so maybe it's not as clean as before and more debris. >.<
Finger cross his going to be fine >.<
Not a big fan of using medicine as it can sometime be worst.... u think it's hard to cure? With just salt and water change?

Aros are pretty strong hardy fish. Just keep ur water clean and add salt.

Agree with the other post that Aros are hardy fishes and understand your reservations about using meds. I would avoid meds too if I can be it does depend on the severity of the problem. Monitor the progress and only you can decide if meds will be necessary. Do not be in a hurry to stop treating the fish and be prepared for the Aro to loose its appetite temporarily.
