Cougars, Any one got any experiance?

behind my iMac.... Southampton UK.
Curious if anyone has any knowledge and or experiance with or around cougars? ideally a good source would help or if anyone knows the appropriate people to speak to? Living in the uk, information is hard to find and searches on the net lead to dead ends...?
 
yeah well done... been there read it, and again leads to more dead ends... like i said ive done so,e research, to be exact about 4 years.... just never got to looking into acquiring one?

Thats the only website I know of.
But really.
If you have to ask, you really shouldnt be owning such a cat.
 
Y? ive grown up around captive BIG cats, aunt and uncle both have worked as big cat keepers at various zoo/safari parks thier whole life's, and have had at least one tiger at there place from time was about 6... if i thought i could handle i tiger, or meet its demands then i know exactly where to go, but im not a fool. And unlike tigers, cougars are rare in captivity, particularly in the UK, license is required ext....

Well if you know this much, what more do you need to know about them?
If your wondering were you would be able to aquire a cub, I really have no idea.
You could possibly contact an american breeder and ask about shipping to the UK.
It would cost quite a bit as you know...
 
yeah really point of me posting was to see if anyone kept/had kept them selfs, knew someone who did, worked in a governing body....

ive been finding it hard to get much info on breeders, il get posting over on exoticcatz n find out more....

That should help.
Not alot of post's come up over there, but hopefully you find someone who can help you locate a cougar in your area...
