Could 2 arowana Live in a 480 gallon

Would this work, the arowanas are about a foot and currently have them in sperate tanks. Dimensions are 8x4x2 feet

You better try some dithers, or one will get picked on and likely killed

it is always recommended that if you keep 3 or more but there never is a guarantee

Depends on the species but generally one of them will always dominate the other to the point of constant ripped fins. Like Barrie said, its recommended you get 3 or more to spread the aggression.

Best luck would be with black aros imo

what kind of aro ?
silver and black aro are much docile and % to comm them is higher

not so much for asian aro .... but who knows your luck ...
