Could a JD pair go in a 55g?

I have a standard 55g and i have a young normal jd im thinking male but have no clue still to young to tell and the lfs got some of these interesting looking JDs. They look like a gold morph but idk yet so i think im going to go pick up a couple and hopefully get a pair or something. Just wondering here but a JD pair can go in a 55g right?

A 55 will work for a pair. Make sure and post pics when you get your new JDs.

A 55g would work as long as they are compatible. And of course good filtration.
