Last night moved my 2 1.5'' into another tank with a 2-2.5'' inch Raphael Striped Catfish. I woke up this morning to 1 EBJD and a RSC. Could it have eaten my other EBJD? I removed it from the tank but just wondering if that was even possible?
Could a Raphael eat a cichlid?

My spotted Raph will eat anything he can get his mouth on, even when it seems way to big lol. i dunno how he does it, but he was making adult guppies disappear when he was only 2". I have even seen him chomp my pictus a couple times, but he figures out pretty quick that he cant eat the pictus.
Raphaels are usually not going to eat tankmates but it can happen. Anything else it the tank that could have made the cichlid disappear?
I doubt it... raphaels have a very small moth, especially at that size. but crazier things have happened
