Could a Senegal go in a 55g?

I have a deal on a 55g tank for $60 and i was going to pick it up. I wasnt sure what i was going to do with it, then i thought that i have a senegal birchir that would look good in the. could i mix about 2-3 sens(or any other birchirs in there? And if i could mix any other type of birchir in there, what?

I would keep it at sens...If they are small, you could do a good sized group that would be happy for years and years in that tank size...I would do no less than 5

Sens are fine in a 55g. If you are looking for other fish as tankmates, try the severums.

oo i like that idea that would be a nice contrast, with the servs and birchirs. Im going to find some albino ones to, i think that would look cool, with like 3 regulars, 2 albinos, and a couple of servs

They're a senegal variation. I like the idea of a few sens and then maybe a pair of sevs, one green, one gold maybe. I've got 2 sens (one normal, one albino) in a 75 with a little green sev and several other fish
