Could I Add Anything?

I have a severum and a Jack Dempsey in my 55 gallon. Both of these fish get along fine and have been for the last year or so. My question is, Could I add anything else to this tank? I was thinking a.) another severum,or b.) a firemouth pair.
If those either of those would work let me know. If they dont what else could I add?
 
Clown Loaches. Great cleanup crew!
 
i wouldn't add any more cichlids, maybe some silver dollars?
 
Would clown loaches be alright in a 55? I thouhgt they got huge? Also how many silver dollars could I put in my tank?
 
loaches grow very slowly, only thing is that they're very prone to getting ich
 
How many Silver Dollars would be best for my tank? I really like Clown Loaches but I am worried that they would become food, the ones my LFS has are always very small. Are there any fish that are red or orange that would go in my tank?
 
silver dollars are schoolers, but given the tank space available, i'd say no less than 2 and no more than 3, there are red hook silver dollars if you like some red
 
I bought 2 3"silver dollars 3 months ago and they've grown maybe 1 centimeter lol...
 
I wouldn't add any silver dollars. That will be like perfectly stocked when they get bigger. And to add to that silver dollars grow very fast IME. I had some that grew to probably 3" from less than an inch in a couple months maybe. My cousin also has some and they are already about 3" from maybe two months ago.
