Could I add Black Kuhli Loach to my mix?

It is possible but your kuhli loach could end up being food for your Texas depending on its size. I have seen your username before on another site....Im a fan of blood parrots as well.

Well I think Kuhlis including black kuhlis have a spine under their eye that hurts if a predator tries to eat it.
My guess is that it'll probably get eaten when your texas gets big. They like to swim really fast up and down the glass after a water change. That'll be the texas's chance for a worm like snack. I love black khulis. In my experience they survive just about any conditions (besides being housed with fish that will use them as a snack).
