well if any of you have read any of my threads you will see iv bought a few new additions recently but iv also rehomed some of my previous stock. Iv owned a few centrals before but usually on there own or in pairs as iv only just had the room to have an adequate tank for these guys. so as of last week i had 55g, 100g and 160g+. im getting rid of the 55g and my stock has been wittled down to 2 jaguar cichlids, 1texas(h.carpintis) and a midevil. The plan was to get rid of one of the jags but i cant as iv got attatched to them both, so the plan is for 1 of the jags to remain in the 100g and the other jag, texas and midevil to go into the 160g+. When i built the 160g is was really a test to see if i could do it and a test for a bigger build. In the next month we are moving to a bigger property and im going to build another tank which will work out at about 250g. So the money question is would i be able to fit one other central in with my current stock into the 250g. the jag is currently at 7inch, texas 6inch and the midevil is at 3-3.5inch. the jag being homed on his own is about 5inch but is not compatiable really with other fish even at this small age but is a great character.
so im looking for people with experience with the 3 fish listed before and if there is room for another central what you recommend?
id really like to add a trimac, haitian or beani but i think i might be being a little optimistic. Well i look forward to hearing your comments and suggestions of any other centrals. thanks in advance
