In my 75 i have 2 sens, both about 7'', a delhezi about 6'', and a bowfin about 5''. None of them show aggression to other fish as Ive seen so far, and i love them all but they are not as active as i would like. To add color and movement to the tank i have been considering adding discus. Ive been reading about discus but never kept one, would this be a bad mix?
I would like 2 but Ive read that you need around 5 and thats probably too much for my 75 along with my other fish. My filters are a marine land emperor 400 and a magnum 350 cannister so i dont think filtration is a problem. If this is a bad idea dont get mad at me for even considering it, its just an idea and if you have a better one to add color and movement without crowding plz post it. Thanks in advance for any help :)

ya discus need pretty good water and they're pretty expensive to have a risk of them being nipped at and bowfins need cold while discus need warmer

Yes that would be a problem. The bowfin inst big yet but i could see that being bad in the future. Maybe something cheaper...

IMHO, discus are probably the worse choice you could make with those fish. could it be done? who knows, but it would be a really expensive mistake.
