That's a beautiful fish! Maybe a Geophagus dicrozoster? Need more pictures that show the lateral bars better.

I was thinking dicrozoster too. Or at least I hope so, because I'll be VERY pleased if mine turn out that way.

I think dicrozoster going by the black marking just in front of the gill plate.

I agree they certainly do look like Dicrozoster but more pictures will probably yield a better id.
